Do you decide which DMV forms I need?

No. You tell us the transaction you intend to complete. We can provide the current publicly available NCDMV checklist and forms associated with that transaction.

Can you fill out my forms for me?

Accepted Answer

We may provide transcription or data-entry assistance using information you provide, where appropriate. You are responsible for all answers, selections, disclosures, and signatures.

Can you tell me what I should put on a title?

Accepted Answer

No. We can identify the printed fields and provide public NCDMV information, but you must decide what information to enter.

Can you fix a title that was completed incorrectly?

Accepted Answer

We do not advise customers how to alter or correct an ownership document. Contact NCDMV for instructions regarding corrections or replacement documents.

Can you tell me who owns a vehicle?

No. We do not determine legal ownership.

Can you help with an inherited vehicle?

We can organize documents after you have received instructions or authority from NCDMV, an attorney, or the appropriate estate authority. We do not determine heirs or interpret probate rights.

No. We do not determine tax eligibility or calculate taxes.

Will the DMV definitely accept my documents?

Accepted Answer

No. Only NCDMV or the appropriate License Plate Agency can determine whether documents satisfy current requirements.

Can you notarize my vehicle title?

We can perform a lawful notarial act when the required signer appears with satisfactory identification and the notarization complies with North Carolina law.

Can you help me request a certified birth, death, marriage, or divorce record?

We can complete the issuing office's request form using the information you provide, organize your identification and supporting documents, notarize the request when the form requires it, and assemble a submission-ready packet. The issuing office decides eligibility, fees, and whether the record is released.

My application came back marked incomplete. Can you help?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Bring the returned packet and any correspondence. We review what was submitted, point out blank fields and visibly missing items, and help you organize a corrected packet. We cannot tell you whether the agency will accept it.

Do you still offer fingerprinting or identity services?

No. Fingerprinting, in-person identity verification, and I-9 Authorized Representative appointments are discontinued and no longer offered.

Do I need an appointment, and what should I bring?

Yes, all services are by appointment at our Mint Hill office. Bring a current, unexpired government-issued photo ID for every signer along with the documents you already have for your transaction. Do not sign documents in advance if a notarization is required.

What is personal document organization?

It is practical, hands-on help sorting, labeling, indexing, and filing your important household paperwork so you can find what you need. We can set up a binder or file box, build a digital folder structure, digitize paper records, or create a simple spreadsheet index you can maintain.

How does the $37 assessment work?

The $37 assessment is a scoped appointment where we review what you have and what you need. You then receive a written scope and fixed-price quote before any project work begins. If you approve the project within 14 days, the $37 fee is applied to the project price.

Do you read or interpret my documents?

Accepted Answer

No. We organize documents by type and date using what is printed on them. We do not interpret their meaning, advise you on their contents, or tell you what to keep for legal or tax purposes.

Can you organize paperwork for a parent or family member?

Yes, when the person or an authorized representative arranges the appointment and is comfortable with the work being performed. We work directly with the customer or their authorized representative.

Can you scan my documents and put them in Google Drive?

Yes. We can digitize paper records and organize them into a clear folder structure in your own cloud account. You keep ownership and control of the account and the files.

Do you keep copies of my documents?

Accepted Answer

No. Your documents remain yours. We do not retain copies of your personal records after the work is complete unless you specifically ask us to leave a file in your own account.
