Identity Services
In-person identity verification and identity document support, handled carefully and documented properly — by appointment at our Mint Hill office.
Identity paperwork fails for small reasons: an expired ID, a name that doesn't match, a form completed by the wrong person, or a section left unsigned. We handle the in-person part of identity work with attention to detail and a clear record of what was verified.
Signer Identity Verification
In-person verification of a signer's government-issued photo identification, recorded in our notary journal with the notarial act performed.
I-9 Authorized Representative Appointments
We meet remote hires in office as the employer's authorized representative, inspect Section 2 documents, and complete the employer portion for the employer's records.
Apostille Request Preparation
Preparation and organization of documents and cover requests for Secretary of State apostille or authentication submission.
Also available
- Identity and name-discrepancy affidavits
- Copy certification by document custodian (where permitted)
- Signature witnessing for identity-related forms
- Consent and authorization forms requiring notarized identity
- Organizing supporting identity documents into a clean packet
What to bring
A current, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required for every identity appointment. Do not sign documents in advance if a notarial act is involved.
Document Navigators provides administrative document support only. We are not a government agency and we do not provide legal or immigration advice. Need a notarial act on its own? See our notary services.
Need an identity appointment scheduled?
Call or request an appointment and we'll confirm availability and what to bring.
